This report was developed from the “Sensing Under the Ice” workshop held in Hobart, Tasmania 22-25 October 2012, sponsored by the CSIRO Wealth from Oceans National Research Flagship and the Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS) Project Office. This strategy lays the foundation for Under Ice observations for SOOS and will be revised and updated at regular intervals.
